Gen X Jumps / Privacy

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Gen X Jumps handles information across genxjumps.com, app.genxjumps.com, and the programs and emails connected to them.

Effective: September 16, 2026

Scope

This policy applies to the Gen X Jumps public website atgenxjumps.com, the plan and program app atapp.genxjumps.com, and related emails, purchases, and support communications. Links to other websites are governed by those sites' own privacy policies.

Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Your first name and email address.
  • Assessment answers, including your current exercise level, jump rope experience, available equipment, training schedule, impact needs, and optional current weight.
  • Account and program information, including program access, workout progress, completion history, pause or restart activity, reminder preferences, and optional measurements or nutrition information you choose to save.
  • Messages and support requests you send to us.
  • Purchase details such as the product, amount, payment status, transaction identifiers, and refund request or refund status. Payment-card information is collected and processed by Stripe, not stored by Gen X Jumps.

Information collected automatically

When you use the site or app, our hosting and technical providers may process information such as your IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, referring page, timestamps, and diagnostic or security logs. If you allow optional measurement on the public website, Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights also process page paths, referrals, approximate location, device and browser categories, selected conversion actions, and page performance. The app uses cookies or browser storage to keep you signed in, remember assessment answers, and restore access to your saved plan.

Fitness and health-related information

Some assessment answers and program records may relate to your body, fitness, nutrition, physical limitations, or progress. We use that information to personalize your plan, calculate relevant targets, provide program features, and support your account.

Gen X Jumps isn't a healthcare provider, and its services aren't a substitute for medical care. Don't submit medical records or other health information the assessment doesn't request. We don't sell or use your fitness and health-related information for targeted advertising.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • Create, save, and deliver personalized plans and program access.
  • Track progress and restore access across devices.
  • Send requested plan, account, reminder, and recovery emails.
  • Send marketing emails when you have agreed to receive them.
  • Process purchases, confirm payment, and maintain purchase records.
  • Provide support and respond to requests.
  • Protect the site, app, users, and business from misuse or fraud.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve our services.
  • Meet legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

Email

A first-time 7-Day Plan signup enrolls you in requested plan messages and, when the signup disclosure says so, general Gen X Jumps marketing. Recovering an existing plan reactivates only the 7-Day Plan messages; it doesn't change your separate marketing choice.

The app's email-preferences link controls 7-Day Plan messages. Marketing emails use the unsubscribe control in the marketing email. Opting out of either category doesn't remove plan or program access and doesn't prevent necessary messages about a purchase, account security, or an access link you request.

How information is shared

We don't sell or rent your personal information. We disclose information only as needed to operate Gen X Jumps, complete a request, or meet a legal obligation. Providers may include:

  • Supabase for database, account, and app infrastructure.
  • Lovable for app hosting, deployment, and cloud function infrastructure.
  • Resend for plan, account, and service emails.
  • MailerLite for consented marketing email.
  • Stripe for payment processing.
  • Vercel for public-site hosting, content delivery, optional website analytics, and performance measurement.
  • Other security and technical providers that keep the website and app available.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or complete a merger, financing, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business.

Cookies, measurement, video, and affiliate links

The app uses essential cookies or browser storage for sign-in, secure access, assessment progress, and saved preferences. Clearing browser data may remove information saved only on that device or require you to request a new access link.

The public website uses privacy-focused Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand page visits, referring pages, approximate location, device and browser categories, selected conversion actions, and page performance. Vercel Web Analytics does not use third-party cookies or identify people across different websites. Query strings are removed before measurement, and we do not send form answers, email addresses, payment-card details, or fitness information through these website events. We do not use website measurement for targeted advertising.

Workout pages may include videos from YouTube using its privacy-enhanced embed domain. YouTube may receive device and usage information when an embedded video loads or plays.

Some jump-rope recommendations use Crossrope affiliate links. If you follow one, Crossrope or its affiliate platform may use cookies or similar technology to recognize the referral. Gen X Jumps may earn a commission if you make a purchase, at no additional cost to you.

We don't currently use personal information for targeted advertising. Because browser "Do Not Track" signals aren't consistently defined, the site doesn't respond to them separately. Where required, we will honor legally recognized privacy preference signals.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service you requested, maintain program access and business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information and why it was collected. Information may remain temporarily in backups after it is removed from active systems.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No website, app, database, email, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep plan access links private and contact us if you believe your information or access link has been compromised.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional legal rights. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and some information may be retained when permitted or required by law.

To make a request, email todd@genxjumps.com. You can also manage email choices through the link in any applicable email.

Children's privacy

Gen X Jumps is designed for adults and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Gen X Jumps changes. The effective date at the top will show when the policy was last revised. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will provide additional notice when appropriate.
